Based in Kent, MX Motorhomes is a small, professional, established company which has been in the 'bespoke' business for almost 20 years.  Our hands-on experience and skill has provided the perfect foundation for our successful launch into the leisure industry. What do we do?

We design and build conversions for Camper Vans, Motorhomes and Race Trucks. 

Our popular bespoke building service is ideal for those who know exactly what they want.  Conversions can be uniquely customised to the customer's exact specification. The bespoke conversion service is usually undertaken on a vehicle you provide to us.  However, MX Motorhomes can source a suitable vehicle for your conversion, if required, this will incur a small fee, please contact us for more information.

The vehicle conversions we produce reflect the best features of the many varied designs available on the market today.  Our expertise enables us to offer our customers superior conversions at reasonable prices.

How do we do it?

All our furniture  is handcrafted and built using high quality, lightweight, laminated or veneered MFC, available in a wide range of colours and finishes with wood or plastic trims. If required, we can also build cabinets by more traditional methods using real wood veneer and hardwood frames, ideal for the race homes.

Kitchens are built using quality items including fridges and freezers from Electrolux and Smev ovens and hobs.

Our bodies have a unique and pleasing coach built appearance, featuring the distinctive tilting cab which enables vehicle maintenance to be carried out easily.

We have an excellent relationship in place with a pod design manufacturer, who offer the highest quality build as standard. We can also supply fixed front sleeping pods at a reduced rate

Our design and build quality, care and attention-to-detail is apparent in our range of conversions, whatever the purpose.  Before delivery, every completed conversion is subjected to rigorous and comprehensive quality checks.

At MX Motorhomes, we have a valuable insight into the world of motor racing as Iain Valleley (Managing Director of MX Motorhomes Limited) has two boys, Kam and Louis, who have a great time in the extreme sport of motocross.  Being actively involved in this sport ensures that all our conversions are built for practicality, comfort and safety.  This first-hand experience ensures a smooth-ride and peace of mind for our customers, whether their time is being spent at a race track or purely for leisure.
